Barren As Brick
Despite all of my hopes, it does not look like we'll have any longans this year. All the new growth of all my longan trees look barren as in this photo. All leaves, no fruits! Nature works in mysterious way!

My first time here and now I am hungry and I am also fasting for my blood test will be taken tomorrow...by the way what kind of a fruit is a longan anyway? Are they sold in stores under a different name?
I am in California and never heard of a longan tree before.
Well I better run off to bed and try and not think about anything so tasty to eat thanks to your blog.
And I also know that I will be back again.
