The Rat!

At dusk, UM's main campus truly shows that students here know how to recharge. Many meet to eat dinner at the Rathskeller, a favorite place (mine too) to eat, drink, unwind, socialize to rewind for another day of tough college life tomorrow. Many 0f the students here are from out of town, and college life may feel lonely at times. The Rat is the place to combat the blues. Nice food and atmosphere too. I like the hanging and swinging chairs outdoor under the oak trees. Go Canes!

You made i t sounds like college is so depressing and tough. I had the best times!!! American students have such a light curriculum that I cannot believe they could be overwhelmed. By the whole being away from home for the first time, yes.
Seems like a very cool little place for a drink or a light dinner.

OK, OK, you got me! I am a bit over-dramatized. Being an alumni, I admit I've got to be biased and protect my "alma Mater." Do you know that this UM had a (bad) reputation of being "Sun Tan U?" But I've got to tell you, and I am sure you know, living in NY, that life is tough in the US, and being a student can be stressful.

I am not sure I fully agree with you but everybody's stress level is different, I must recognize that. Another cup of coffee? ;)
